Alaska Go Fish, LLC is an amazing fishing experience offering fishing holidays and unbeatable memories.

We are Alaska Go Fish, LLC, and we offer you, the traveling fisherman, a once in a lifetime, all-around great fishing experience. We offer you the best of fishing holidays and shareable stories of your unbeatable memories.

Alaska Go Fish, LLC, based in Ketchikan, AK

Alaska Go Fish is an LLC with owners born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. We have been fishing the waters around Ketchikan for the last 30 years.

Captain Jos will most likely be your guide when you book with AGF.  Jos lives in Ketchikan year round. He loves to spend his summers hosting visitors from all over the world and sharing the wonders of our little island. Captain Jos knows how to adapt to the ever-changing environment and conditions to make sure each and every guest has an incredible trip and is able to make memories that will last a lifetime.

When you book with AGF, you are guaranteed a first class trip aboard the Rosemary June, our brand new Parker 2530.  She is the ultimate fishing boat for salmon and halibut day fishing excursions. The RJ is a 2018 Parker 2530 XL. The boat has ample room for a full slate of visitors to comfortably enjoy a full day on the water yet is small and nimble enough to have the speed and agility to access most of Ketchikan’s secret honey holes.

Parker is a world renowned shipbuilder, and the 2530XL is the ideal vessel for the serious fisherman.  The boat can fish up to 6 guests and has an enclosed toilet.  The RJ is powered by a new 300 HP Yamaha F series outboard. She travels fast, so we can optimize your time on the fishing grounds.

Repeat customers simply can’t get enough.  Every time they come back, we find a new adventure or chase a new trophy.  This is the trip you are looking for, and we want to be the ones responsible for your future love affair with Alaska!

When you are visiting on a cruise, you have limited time to explore this beautiful state.

If you want to maximize the time you’re here AND you’re looking for a legitimate Alaska fishing trip, you need to have everything organized, get off the ship, get on the charter, and get your lines in the water, ASAP. You need to get off the ship and find your way directly to your charter so you can get your gear wet.

Don’t get caught up in the congested tourist trap of downtown Ketchikan.

It’s unfortunate, but there are various companies that herd unsuspecting tourists into a generic, McDonald’s-like, pre-fab trip where you will ride a bus for 30 minutes to meet your captain before boarding a small skiff. Our focus is different.

We are invested in this community, so showing you a once in a lifetime trip that will inspire you to come back and stay for a few days is very important to us.

We have several partners we work with for accommodations and can help build a dream package. The Slammin’ Salmon Inn provides ideal lodging for those interested in a multi-day adventure, and we recommend them highly for a great Alaskan experience.

I Give Captain Jos 5 Out Of 5 Stars

Fishing with Captain Jos was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Alaska. I have two small children and my husband loves fishing so we settled on a half day trip.

I know from experience that it can be difficult to catch fish on a short trip. Not for Captian Jos!

We had our gear in the water and shortly thereafter we had our first fish on board! I prefer to sit back and enjoy the scenery while letting my husband do most of the fishing. Captain Jos shared stories about Alaska and shared his incredible salmon dip with the ladies.

I give Captain Jos 5 out of 5 stars.

With Captain Jos, It Was A Whole New Level

I am originally from Ketchikan Alaska and I do my best to get back there every year.

It really is great to let someone else do all the work, while I just get to reel in the fish.

Over the past five years, I have done 8 charters with five different Charter Captains.  Each of the previous Captains did a good job and provided a good experience.

But on our trip with Captain Jos, it was a whole new level. I was extremely impressed with his ability to quickly find and bring in the target fish. Trophy fish are the real challenge and Jos knows how to get it done.

On our trip, we brought in several Kings and four Coho on a short 4-hour trip. From now on when I return home I am booking with Captain Jos!

One Of The Highlights Was Salmon Fishing With Captain Jos

We just got back from our Alaskan Cruise, and one of the highlights was salmon fishing with Captain Jos.

The boat was clean and comfortable.

They took my family of 4 (2 Teens) for a private salmon fishing trip.

We fished for 4 hours and were able to land one King, 2 Coho, 2 Pink, and a Rock Fish.

Jos told some great stories and was working hard to catch fish. We knew fishing was going to be a bit slow since we were at the tail end of King, and the very beginning of Pink, but as you can tell from our catch we did quite well.

As we were heading back, he pulled out the homemade smoked salmon spread, which was outstanding. I nearly ate the full jar myself. My whole family enjoyed the experience, and I would definitely recommend going with this captain and outfitter again.

They also handle all of the fish processing

At the end, we just filled out a form on the boat, and we were done. It couldn’t have been easier. I’m looking forward to eating our fresh caught fish.

I Am A Novice Fisherman And Jaws Made The Experience Great.

While on our Alaska cruise, on Aug 10, 2017, four of us went on our first salmon fishing excursion with [Another Fishing Outfit]. Unfortunately, the four of us had to split up 2 in each boat due to other families, which turned out OK.

The brothers on our boat were very experienced fisherman who were fun to talk and fish with and we got Capt Jos (Jaws).

Jaws made the experience great. He had great stories to share with us, helped all with advise to catch some salmon, work very hard to move the boat to where the fish were, pointed out wildlife(eagles and sea lions), preparing the rod and us so we were not just sitting around and made sure we were all were getting hits.

At one point, the three of us were on separate rods reeling in salmon at one time.

Jaws even convinced Ed and me to ship the fish home,–we caught 4 Coho and 2 pink salmon!. I would highly recommend requesting Capt Jos(Jaws) for a fun salmon fishing experience.
