Decades of Experience
As the owner and operator, Captain Jos was born and raised in Alaska and has spent the better part of his life in and around Ketchikan. He has been fishing these waters for nearly 3 decades and knows every island and channel in a 100-mile radius. Jos has fished commercially, sport, and recreationally, so he knows the ins and outs of fishing from all angles. He is up-to-date on the ever-changing regulations so that you fish what's both fun and legal. Jos is a true Alaskan with a love for Southeast Alaska, which has kept him here all these years.

The Fleet
Getting you to the good fishing grounds requires a well-equipped boat. It is the expectation of each of the boats incorporated into the Alaska Go Fish, LLC team to be able to get quickly to the best fishing to expedite getting your lines in the water. We run with some of the best boats and fastest motors in the region.
What We Catch
SALMON
Being in Ketchikan, Alaska, the Salmon Capital of the World, we catch lots of salmon. Depending on the season, we are able to land king salmon (chinook salmon), silver salmon (coho), pink salmon (humpies), and chum salmon (keta).
HALIBUT
Alaska Go Fish, LLC, is proud to possess a charter halibut permit. This is a coveted permit in the region. Only those with a CHP are legally allowed to catch and keep halibut caught on charter.

LINGCOD & ROCKFISH
Some folks prefer the more delicate white meat of these--which are also the personal favorite of Captain Jos. Not only are these fish delicious, but they are mighty fun to reel in.
